Is your pet’s gut microbiota balanced?

November 21, 2021

When the pet's gut microbiota is out of balance, its welfare is also impaired.

We use to say that the pet's gut microbiota is out of balance when there is something wrong with microbial community inhabiting its gut. Some signs that this may be happening to your pet are:

- Diarrhea

 - Vomiting

 - Appetite dysregulation (in some cases the pet may even start eating non-food items)

 - Bowel sounds

To restore the gut microbiota balance, dogs and cats at any age can benefit from live microorganism-based supplements, known as Probiotics. Do not forget to seek the vet’s advice.
